Now a cable is going to control everything? The question may come. But it's just the redesigned USB 4 cable that's going to come out as a multipurpose cable.
That path has already begun. The Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) has announced that the full benefits of DisplayPort 2.0 will now be available on USB4.
There is also a little confusing thing here. But usually the bandwidth can be used with USB 4 and at the same time it can be used with 8K resolution monitor where 60 GHz HDR or 60 GHz display with 16K resolution can be operated very easily.
It actually has all the specifications of DisplayPort Alta Mode 2.0. This means that all the benefits of DisplayPort 2.0 can be found here.
According to Vesa, bandwidth data for video can be doubled using USB 4. USB 4 can transport data upstream and downstream at the same time 40 Gbps. However, it will flow 60 Gbps data in one way stream.
However, DisplayPort 2.0 is said to be in common use from next year.
That being said, USB 4 is going to change the field of video games. Accelerated data transfer will increase gaming speed.
