Word, Excel and PowerPoint together in small app
Microsoft has come up with an app called 'Microsoft Office' for relatively low-powered smartphones.
The app, which is less than 100 megabytes in size, can use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint together.
Tech City has tried using the app. The clean interface app is very easy to use. In addition to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Note and Lance features will be available here. The note feature is very helpful for keeping some important notes.
The Lance feature is the most interesting. Taking a picture of a text or data table can be easily used in Word or Excel in the form of text or table. There is also the facility to scan the QR code.
Voice dictation feature has also been added to Microsoft Word. Which is able to translate your words into writing. That will free you from the hassle of typing. This feature can also be used for formatting and pronunciation.
The use of Excel and PowerPoint has been expanded. Excel has added two new features called Outline to CardView and PowerPoint. These two features will further enhance the experience of using Excel and PowerPoint. There is also a feature to read and sign PDFs.
In a word, Microsoft has come up with all the necessary services in one app.
On February 19, the app has been released for Android and iOS devices. Previously, such an app was only available for Samsung devices.
The app has been built keeping in mind the needs of users of devices that are not able to run the full version of Word, Excel and PowerPoint apps separately.
The app is capable of using third party storage services, such as Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox and Box as storage.
