The first YouTube video was made 15 years ago this month
The first YouTube video was uploaded this month 15 years ago today.
The video was uploaded on April 23, 2005 by YouTube co-founder Javed Karim. Javed recorded the 18-second video while standing in front of an elephant herd at a San Diego zoo.
In the video, he talks about elephant trunks. Didn't request to like, comment or subscribe at the end of the video. "That's all for today," he concluded.
The video titled 'Me at the Zoo' was released on YouTube from the 'Javed' channel. No more videos have been uploaded to the channel since then. So far the video has been viewed 90 million times.
Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Javed Karim of Bangladeshi descent took to YouTube in San Francisco. The three co-founders were employees of PayPal, a popular online transaction medium. On October 6, 2006, Google bought YouTube for 1.65 billion. Although Javed's share on YouTube is low, he earned ৬ 84 million due to Google's share price.
Now YouTube is one of the most popular sites in the world. The number of users of the site is more than 200 crores every month.

Running is added to the score if you can bat perfectly (click). Congratulations to the spectators (insects-spiders) present in the gallery with applause. Besides, when it is out for zero run, ‘duck’ or duck sign is coming on the screen.
The game is going to be played as long as happy. When you are out, click on the refresh button and the game starts anew.
Google did not say in advance which games will be played in the coming days.

However, most people can talk together for free on Zoom. Up to 100 participants can join together for video conferencing. Due to this advantage, the number of users of Zoom is also increasing at a rocket speed. 300 million people around the world are using the app.
Search has increased on Google, fear of declining advertising revenue
Google's parent company Alphabet has released its first quarter earnings estimates.
Google has made quite a good profit in the first two months of the year. However, in March the situation continued to worsen. That's why Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai called it a 'story of two quarters'.
Google did not suffer as much from the effects of coronavirus as other organizations. Their income has increased by 13 percent compared to the same quarter last year. Homeless people have relied on Google to get information. So the amount of Google search was more at this time.
Four times more coronavirus information has been sought than in the US entertainment show Super Bowl. People are also spending more time on YouTube, which is owned by Google. Although he did not release any statistics, Sundar Pichai said that the rate of watching live streaming videos on YouTube has increased.
People are spending more time on the app. The app download rate was 30 percent higher in March than in February. Google Play has been used on an average of 250 crore devices every month.
Also, the demand for Chromebooks has increased. Analysts claim that the demand for Chromebooks has increased by 400 percent in the first quarter of this year compared to last year. The number of Chromebook users has increased to 100 million as online education activities are underway.
However, the demand for smartphones has reduced the rate of device activation. A large part of Google's revenue comes from advertising. Ruth Porat, Google's chief financial officer, warned that the coronavirus could affect the advertising business next quarter.
Two years of digital transformation happened in two months: Nadela
The effects of coronavirus in human life are now being noticed to a great extent. The use of digital media in particular has increased during this time.
Satya Nadela, Microsoft's chief executive officer, said they had seen as many digital conversions in two years as in January-March.
He added in a video conference call on Wednesday that Microsoft has been working on digital transformation for a long time. The coronavirus has forced many to work from home. So at this time the company is working to deliver customer safety, cloud service and their highest service to every customer.
Nadela said that since everyone is working in the office from a distance at this time, their safety and privacy are paramount. That must be confirmed.
However, it has become clear that the amount of work done from such a distance will increase in the future. People will then want to give more importance to virtual work. So a time when digital transformation was inevitable was somewhat accelerated by the coronavirus epidemic, he said.
The CEO of Microsoft said that now there are more than 39 million personal and family subscribers of Microsoft 365.
More than 100 crore active Windows 10 users per month. Which is increasing by 30 percent every year.
20% of Uber employees will lose their jobs
As a result of the coronavirus, 20 percent of Uber employees are losing their jobs.
Although so far the decision has not been finalized. However, discussions are going on at the top level. Uber will lose 5,400 jobs if it is officially announced in the next few weeks. Uber pays these employees every month. This decision will have no effect on the driver or the delivery man.
Tuhan Pam, the company's chief technology officer, has resigned. He joined Uber in 2013. 3,600 Uber engineers worked under him. Of them, 700 engineers are going to lose their jobs.
At present, Uber has 26,000 salaried employees around the world. Lockdown is taking place in all major cities of the world due to coronavirus. In such a situation, the car running on Uber app cannot get on the road. As a result, the business collapsed. Compared to the same period last year, the revenue of the ride sharing platform has decreased by 60 percent.
Uber also has a food delivery business. Although the number of users of Uber Eats has increased, it has not been able to sustain the loss of ride sharing business.

Tiktok has crossed another 100 crore download milestone in 15 days. The short video app has now crossed the 200 million milestone.
On the 14th of this month, the app crossed the 100 crore download milestone.
Coronavirus has put people under house arrest in global lockdowns. And at the moment most of the time is spent on the internet as a means of entertainment. The Chinese company ByteDance's app also benefited from it.

In addition to the 200 million download milestone in Peru, India has risen to the top in terms of app downloads. Now its unique download from the Play Store in the country has reached 81 crore 10 lakhs. Which is 30.3% of the total downloads.
At the same time, China has risen to the second position. The number of unique downloads in the country now is 19 crore 8 lakh. Which is 9.6 percent of the total users.
16 crore downloads in the United States now. Which is 7.2 percent of the total users.
The amount of downloads from the Google Play Store is one and a half crore or 75.5%.
On the other hand, the amount of download from the App Store is 49 crore 52 lakh or 24.5 percent.

Awareness from Microsoft on Lockdown
Lockdown is now taking place in most countries of the world due to corona virus. Homeless people are browsing the internet, downloading movies, etc. to spend time. But if you also download different movies from different sites to watch movies, then be careful. Popular tech company Microsoft has warned the world about a new thing.
The company announced the new threat in a series of tweets from Microsoft's Security Intelligence account. Tanmoy Gyanacharya, a security researcher at the company, said housebound people are no longer just using the online stream platform to spend time. They are downloading movies from various sites especially torrents. And hackers have jumped at the chance to do their own thing.
They are inserting viruses into the files of some popular movies. One such popular movie is John Wick 3. While downloading this movie from torrent, it contains various files. In one of the files the virus was found. Gadgetsnow reports that the name of this malicious file is "contagio-1080p," "John_Wick_3_Parabellum,". In general, it does not seem to be a malicious file.
However, as soon as you click on that file, the security of your device will break. And crypto-mining malware will come to your device. Then it will start working in the background. You may not even know it is sending all the information inside to the hacker. Also your device will become slow. So be careful when downloading movies from any site and do not try to open any unknown files.

internet communications should be availed at coronavirus (Covid-19) in Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar.
Fifty international human rights organizations have called on the Prime Minister to lift the ban on mobile and internet communications to prevent coronavirus (Covid-19) in Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar.
The organizations made the request in a joint letter to the Prime Minister to ensure free flow of information to the Rohingya camps.
The letter praised Bangladesh for providing shelter to the displaced Rohingya people by the Myanmar army and said, "We are calling for lifting the ongoing mobile network ban on Rohingya camps." Besides, I am calling for a moratorium on the fencing work around the Rohingya camp. These activities should be taken now to ensure Rohingya protection in the camps and prevent Kovid-19.
The letter further said, "The Kovid-19 virus, which has taken the form of a global epidemic, is also spreading in Bangladesh." At this time, the free flow of information, especially mobile and internet communication, needs to be kept fully operational in order to protect the lives and property of the people, human rights activists and the people of Bangladesh who have taken refuge in the Rohingya camps to prevent coronavirus. Lifting restrictions on the flow of information will allow community health workers to exchange important information about Covid-19 and provide accurate guidance on coronary prevention, as well as facilitate communication with community leaders for coordination. Therefore, our call is to ensure free mobile and internet access for the local people, the Rohingya community and the aid workers from the place of human rights and public health rights.
The letter was jointly written to the Prime Minister by 50 international organizations, including Article 19, ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights, Action Corps, Amnesty International, Beyond Borders Malaysia, British Rohingya Community UK, Forty Rights, and Human Rights Watch.
Internet Dependency Has Been Increased In Bangladesh
The one-month vacation announced by the government due to the corona virus has increased internet dependence. As seen recently, on April 10 of this month, the bandwidth usage in the country was 1,650 Gbps (gigabytes per second). The bandwidth of the submarine cable was 1,050 Gbps. The remaining 600 Gbps bandwidth is provided by 6 ITCs (International Terrestrial Cables) in the country. The next day, the bandwidth usage in the country was 1,600 Gbps. Currently, bandwidth usage has increased by 25-30 percent. In this context, the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Mostafa Jabbar said, in this crisis, our internet system is good. We have not failed in any work related to internet. We are able to do all kinds of work successfully starting from the online meeting of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
"In the last few days, our usage of 150 Gbps bandwidth has increased," he said. The Internet is now our lifeline. According to technology experts, the total bandwidth usage has increased due to the increase in mobile internet usage. Currently, the most used bandwidth is for watching YouTube, using Facebook and Facebook videos. Netflix and Amazon Prime video are at the top of the list of popular entertainment media. Other popular social media platforms include Instagram and LinkedIn. And now the most used video conferencing is Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams, Google Hangouts Meets and Cisco Webex. Meanwhile, mobile phone operators have redesigned voice and internet packages. Some operators are offering more data at earlier prices. No operator has reduced the price of their data. Mobile operators say their data (Internet) usage has increased but the number of voice calls has decreased. Meanwhile, in the current situation, the Bangladesh Mobile Phone Subscribers Association has demanded free telecommunication and internet services in exchange for waves. Mohiuddin Ahmed, president of the organization, said that unannounced lockdown is going on all over the country at present. In this situation, besides food, drink, fuel and medicine, one of the most important services of the citizens is telecommunication and internet. This sector is included in the emergency services announced by the Prime Minister. But even though this service is included in the emergency service, it is creating a big obstacle in getting this service due to lack of coordination. He said that in order to keep the customers at home, he needs uninterrupted telecom and internet services. Because the biggest entertainment and important medium at the moment is the mobile phone. With the collapse of all business there has been some change and loss in the business of this sector which there is no way to deny. Voice calls have dropped by about 20 percent. However, data usage has increased by about 25 percent. Telecommunication service workers are working relentlessly at the risk of their lives. Several countries are already providing free telecommunications and internet services to their citizens in this global epidemic. "The decision of the state is important in getting such services in our country," he said. Because if it is free, the government can decide how to collect VAT or waive it. On the other hand, if it is free, the demand for this service will increase a lot and it will be impossible to provide this service with the current wave. Therefore, we will demand that the government can provide the state resources which are lying unused (waves) for free for 6 months at 5 MHz without taking absolutely free from the operators. And this could force operators to provide this service for free. And we think that 80 percent of the citizens can be kept at home.
Internet speed is decreasing on India
Internet speed is gradually decreasing in India. As a result, India's ranking in the world is gradually declining. According to a recent report by Internet Speed Test giant Ookla, India's internet quality plummeted in March. Last month, India ranked 130th in the world in terms of mobile internet speeds. The situation is better than in the case of fixed broadband. India is ranked 71st in the world, two steps lower than before.
Between January and March, fixed broadband speeds in India declined by an average of 5.5 Mbps. On the other hand, the speed of mobile internet has decreased by 1.6 Mbps during this period. According to Ookla, the speed of fixed broadband in India was 41.48 earlier this year. And in March it dropped to 35.95 Mbps.
The United Arab Emirates tops the world in terms of mobile internet speeds. In March, the average mobile download speed in that country was 63.53 Mbps. On the other hand, Singapore still tops the world in terms of fixed broadband speeds with an average download speed of 198.28 Mbps.
Ookla also explained the reasons for the slowdown in the Internet in India. The CEO of the company said, 'It is normal for the speed of the internet to decrease as the pressure of the users on the network increases. Lockdown is going on in India due to Corona crisis. As a result, the pressure on mobile internet has increased. Naturally, the speed of internet in India is decreasing.
Will Star link change the internet service
The type of Internet service may change. Elon Musk, chief executive of US company Tesla, is set to launch an Internet service from space soon. A recent tweet of his has hinted at the same.
In October 2019, the CEO of Tesla posted a tweet that was sent from space via the Starlink satellite. He has unveiled plans for the future of the Internet from space through this Starlink satellite. The Starlink satellites are ready to provide worldwide Internet access, according to a tweet from Musk's company SpaceX. Starlink will provide high-speed broadband Internet in places where access is unreliable, expensive or scarce.
Musk tweeted that they will be able to provide internet services in the United States from August this year. Initially the private beta will be followed by the public beta version.
Starlink is basically a group of Internet service providers, which are orbiting the Earth to give access to the Internet.
Of course, Mask and his company are not the only ones working for such services. Just last year, Jeff Bezos, the world's richest Amazon entrepreneur, announced the launch of such an Internet service. Amazon plans to launch about 3,237 satellites to provide Internet access to disadvantaged communities around the world. In addition to Amazon, Facebook is working on such a plan.
But first of all, Mask is coming up with a plan to provide broadband service. He plans to use 30,000 satellites to bring satellite broadband services to customers. Last year, 60 satellites were sent experimentally. According to technology website Senate, Musk used the Sterlink terminal at his home to tweet.
The United States has already approved 12,000 Starlink satellites. Mask's paperwork has been completed with International Telecommunication. Satellite broadband services are expected to be launched in the United States in the next six months.
Is there a connection between Five-G mobile technology and coronavirus?
One mysterious fire after another has erupted in mobile phone towers in Britain following the spread of conspiracy theories that the Five-G mobile network is linked to the coronavirus. Such fires have occurred in the towers of the Five-G mobile network in Birmingham, Liverpool and Mercedes. Video of the fire at a mobile phone tower has been shared on YouTube and Facebook. There have been claims that there is a link between Five-G mobile technology and coronavirus. Authorities are now investigating the fires.
Michael Gove, Britain's cabinet minister, dismissed the conspiracy theory as "absurd." The British government's Ministry of Digital, Culture, Media and Sports said in a tweet that the Five-G network had nothing to do with the coronavirus. Mobile UK, a coalition of mobile phone companies, said it was "deeply concerned" about the way such rumors and conspiracy theories were being spread.
Police in Merseyside said they were investigating a fire at a telecommunications box on Friday. A video of the fire has been shared on YouTube. It looks like the fire started just after 10 pm. The BBC's 'Disinformation Team' has verified that the video is genuine. However, the relationship of this telecommunication box with the Five-G network is not clear.
Another Five-G tower in the village of Mailing, north of Liverpool, caught fire on Friday night, the Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service said. They put out that fire. They are also investigating that incident. The West Midlands Fire Service said a fire broke out at a 60-foot-high telecommunications tower in Birmingham. The cause of the fire is not yet known. They have not confirmed whether the tower is part of the Five-G mobile network.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "We know of a fire in a mobile phone tower. However, we are waiting for more information. Earlier, during a regular government press briefing, Minister Michael Gove said the rumors and conspiracy theories about Kovid-Nineteen's links to the Five-G network were not only absurd but also dangerous.
Stephen Powys, director of Britain's National Help Service, said the Five-G network was important to ordinary people when they were asked to stay at home. At the same time, the Five-G network is very important in the steps that the healthcare system is taking to deal with the coronavirus.
"Whether or not we need a network to deal with the current state of emergency, I am outraged to know that some people are working against it," he said. While people are working from home in large numbers in this crisis, from emergency services to hospitals and mobile connections are very important for customers at risk, such attacks cannot be accepted in any way. Keeping this network running and maintaining its capacity is being hampered as a result.
Mobile Network says many network workers have been harassed and intimidated by people spreading such conspiracy theories about the Five-G network and attacking telecommunications infrastructure.
What is being said in conspiracy theory
Those who claim that the Five-G mobile network is linked to the coronavirus have been propagating their conspiracy theories. To date, however, no one has been able to show that the Five-G poses a threat to human health. An organization called 'Full Fact' verifies fake news and information. As they have seen, this conspiracy theory with Five-G is based on two erroneous theories.
One theory is that Five-G suppresses a person's immune system. Another theory claims that the coronavirus is picking up victims using radio waves from the Five-G network and thus spreading the infection at a much faster rate.
The Five-G mobile uses a different type of radio wave than before. However, these radio waves are non-ionizing, meaning that they do not have the ability to break the chemical bonds in the DNA of any cell in the human body. So it is not a threat to human health.
The second theory that conspiracy theorists have chosen for their propaganda is that of a Nobel Prize-winning biologist. He indicated that bacteria could create radio waves. But this theory is highly controversial and has not been given much importance to mainstream science. And a major weakness of both theories is that coronaviruses are spreading in cities in Britain that do not yet have Five-G. And Iran and Japan have not yet introduced Five-G technology.
Facebook Gaming
The social media giant Facebook has come up with its own gaming app to rule the gaming world. Although the gaming app was supposed to hit the market in June, the 'Facebook Gaming' mobile app was unveiled earlier due to Corona.
Facebook authorities say people are under house arrest when the lockdown continues due to global corona. So the Facebook gaming app has been released as a timely step.
Users will be able to follow the gamers of their choice from the Facebook gaming app. It can be streamed live while playing video games, live games can be viewed and comments can be made on live streaming without entering Facebook. Gamers will also be able to stream live on their smartphone screens and other phone games if they wish.
After Twitch and YouTube to rule the online gaming world, Facebook is expressing quite optimistic opinions about their own gaming app.
Worldwide, the Facebook gaming app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store from today. And with Apple's approval, the app will be available on IOS devices in the future.

National Emergency 999 Is Being More Updated
The government has decided to further enhance the National Emergency Service-999. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said emergency services would be delivered faster and easier through Geographic Information Management (GIS) and Internet of Things (IOT).
The minister was responding to a question from Jatiya Party MP Fakhrul Imam in Parliament on Monday. He said that this will make it possible to provide emergency assistance more quickly and specifically. The National Emergency Service-999 can be provided more precisely through GIS software. In a written reply, the minister said a map of the country would be brought under GIS software under the supervision of Bangladesh Police.
The Home Minister said plans have been taken to bring maps across the country under modern geographic information management software. This will make it possible to determine the location of the service provider quickly and accurately. Through this management, Emergency Services 999 will be able to provide precise services. The system will have a special feature of crime map, through which the entire policing system will come to a state-of-the-art technical management to quickly eliminate crime, including pre-preparation according to the crime trend and type in any area.
